Got Skills, No Degree? It’s all up to you!

About

Got Skills, No Degree? is the product of the efforts of several apprentices who wanted to document their experiences from training at the Sembawang Shipyard from 1969. The book also includes the experiences of other apprentices and their subsequent achievements.

Pagesetters managed the project in its entirety—helping with fund application, conducting interviews, writing content, designing, printing—all the way to the launch and subsequent distribution of the title.

The book subsequently came to the attention of the Ministry of Education (MOE), which was at that time talking about skills-based learning and academic learning.
