Contour: A Lyric Cartography of Singapore

About

Poetry Festival Singapore (PFS) promotes poetry in all the island’s official languages and its presentation through other forms of art. In Singapore’s bicentennial year, PFS commissioned Contour, a collection of poetry that charts a lyric cartography of Singapore, taking in events from the past seven hundred years while reflecting on the current state of the nation.

Always looking to contribute to the country’s literary ecosystem, Pagesetters managed the production of the book, supporting a challenging editorial process that involved editors working in four different languages, and producing a collection featuring contributions by both unpublished and established poets.

Contour was launched at the Singapore’s Writer’s Festival 2019. This project is a tribute to our linguistic and cultural diversity as a people.
